Why? Like, we relentlessly hate on each other for nothing at all.

It’s to the point where everything is a lose-lose situation. You like yourself? What a conceited bitch! You don’t like yourself? Stop being so insecure!

You dress up nice - why dress up nice? There’s no reason to do that, stop being such a whore! You dress in sweatpants and don’t feel like putting make-up on - people talk shit about how you should “take care of yourself better”.

Ever heard of internalized misogyny? Well, it’s like guys hating girls for being girls, but worse, because instead of guys, it’s the women. Why is it worse? Well, for one, sexism is still going on, A LOT. And it’s pretty hard to try and get equality if people of our own gender are helping to stunt that.

Just, ugh. The next time you’re about to make a negative comment about another lady, say to yourself, “Why do I feel this way?” And if it’s not a good reason (pro-tip: “because she’s a bitch/slut/whore is NOT a good reason), then you should probably keep your mouth shut and work on why you feel that way.
